I am ever curious about people.  Knowing, that families are ever changing, evolving and adapting, I am passionate about being part of the healing process. Today, I find myself surrounded by family, a dream I would not have held growing up.

I graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2002, with a Bachelor of Social Work.  Seeking adventure I went on to practice social work in both London, England and Sydney, Australia in areas of child protection, family preservation, mental health and eating disorders.  While working at Sydney Children's Hospital in 2007, I obtained a Masters of Child and Family Therapy at the University of New South Wales in Sydney.

Having grown up in Vancouver, the mountains and ocean called me back home.  After living in Vancouver and North Vancouver, my family and I have found the Sunshine Coast the place to call home.  The Sunshine Coast fits my value system of balance - time to work, play outdoors and spend time with my family.

For the past eight years, I have worked with Vancouver Coastal Health as a Child & Youth Mental Health Clinician utilizing  both individual and family therapy.  During this time, I became a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW).  For the past three years within VCH, I specialized in eating disorders covering the North Shore, Sea to Sky and Sunshine Coast areas.

It's with great excitement that I am launching into private practice in April 2018 in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia.
